Questions
How long should a title tag be?+
About 50–60 characters. Google cuts titles by pixel width, so longer titles are shortened with “…”.
Does Google always use my meta description?+
No. Google rewrites it when it thinks another part of the page answers the search better, but a good description is used most of the time.
Does the title affect AI search?+
Yes. Clear, descriptive titles help ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews understand what the page is about.
