A successful projection of a person on Facebook, Twitter Instagram, LinkedIn can be misleading at times. After all, we all are human with a heart and emotions. It’s so unbelievable and heartbreaking to hear of Sushant Singh Rajput’s decision to commit suicide.
Nobody will be able to reason with why a successful young star who had so much to look forward to would want to end his life. It’s a blow to the mind to imagine this young, talented and successful actor who played a character in CHICHORE to deal with the mind battles against suicide chooses to end his life in reality. Depression can hit us hard anytime, hence, we should discuss our problems with our near and dear trusted ones; at the same time, offer compassion to those who maybe going through a tough phase in life.
Practice empathy. Be compassionate. Be good listeners. Help. Don’t judge people. What lies inside may not show outside. Why would someone as young, as successful as Sushant Singh Rajput commit suicide?! Doesn’t it leave us wondering! Depression is for real! We, humans, are social animals and need people and friends to take part in our highs and lows more than riches or a misleading FB social media status.
