Nokia (or rather, HMD Global) will have to say something on February 26. One, maybe more Nokia-branded Android smartphones are in tow. There seems to be considerable interest in one phone in particular: the high-end Nokia P1, or as some reports suggest the flagship Nokia. A concept render of the alleged P1 has now been spotted online showing off the phone’s stunning design.

As per the render, the Nokia P1 is seen sporting a premium all-metal design with minimum side bezels. The Nokia logo is seen resting on both the front as well as on the back. On the back, the phone is seen carrying a camera module assisted with what appears to be a triple LED flash. On the front, it is seen carrying a recessed home button that should double as a fingerprint scanner. On the right, the P1 is seen carrying the power button and the volume rocker. Interestingly, there also seems to be a physical camera shutter button on-board the device. On the left side, the phone is seen carrying a slot for SIM and microSD card.

While the concept render looks stunning, it must be taken with a grain of salt. Such concept renders (of upcoming phones) are part and parcel of the World Wide of Web and are often far off from the real deal.

That being said, the P1 render looks a lot like an up-scale Nokia 6, a mid-range Android phone that the company launched recently in China.

The Nokia 6 is an all-metal smartphone — boasting of 6000 series aluminium — with chamfered edges and curved 2.5D Gorilla glass on the front. It has a physical home button on the front that also houses a fingerprint scanner, and is flanked by touch-based capacitive keys which are backlit. The power button and the volume rocker lie on the right, while the SIM card slot rests on the left. It comes with a standard Micro USB 2.0 port (and no USB C-Type) and also supports USB OTG.

Hardware specs include: a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clubbed with 4gigs of RAM under the hood, and 64GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The Nokia 6, moreover, carries a 16-megapixel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, Phase Detection Autofocus and dualLED flash. On the front, it comes with an 8-megapixel camera. The phone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery.
