Facebook has announced another update to their platform with the removal of the Questions functionality from users. Samuel Junghenn founder of Digital Marketing Agency Think Big Onlin e says this won’t have a major effect on users.
“The questions functionality has struggled to achieve the user level required for it to become a pivotal part of Facebook. The removal of it from user accounts really wont affect many people and it’s probably the right step for Facebook to make.” Said Mr Junghenn
While the functionality is being removed from user accounts Pages will still be able to use the questions functionality and users will be able to see past questions and answers.
A Facebook spokesperson had this to say according to AllFacebook:
“Yes, starting today, we are going to begin removing the Questions feature from the composer for users. The removal will happen over the course of a couple of days. Pages and groups will still have the Questions functionality, and users can still access all past Questions and answers. We’re choosing to focus our efforts elsewhere.”
The removal of questions was not publicly announced by Google but was spotted by popular technology site TechCrunch.
